Our History
Our first dairy was developed in Ripon in 1972, producing 100 litres of milk per day for our local milk rounds. Through expansion into the retail, wholesale and bulk sectors, we now process and distribute 750,000 litres of milk and cream across the UK every day. More recently, our sister company Paynes Food Service launched to offer a full compliment of fresh produce, dairy and grocery. For the full story, click here.

Our customers range from large BlueChip companies to small shops and milkmen, and everything in between. We are able to serve customers across all sectors of the liquid milk market, from manufacturing and retail, to wholesale and bulk, and do so whilst offering the best customer service. Our Farmers
Working closely with over 100 farms across the North of England, we collect, transport and process over 750,000 litres of milk everyday. Our close relationship with the farmers we partner with, ensure the highest welfare standards and best quality milk produce. To learn more, click here.
